Does the Lulutox tea work for weight loss? As a mom in the ugly phase of postpartum, I’ve had people recommend this detox tea so I tried it.

Here’s my balanced, no-hype review of how it went. Before I jump right in, here’s a tip for you – Only get the Lulutox detox tea directly on their Amazon store in order to avoid receiving fake ones.

About Lulutox Detox Tea

Lulutox Detox Tea is marketed as an herbal cleansing tea designed to “flush out toxins,” reduce bloating, and help support weight loss. It’s made from a blend of natural ingredients listed;

Sencha Green Tea, Nettle Leaf, Oolong Tea, Dandelion Leaf, Goji Berry, Yerba Mate, Lemon Grass, Milk Thistle, Guarana, Peach Flavoring, Ginseng, Citric Acid, Stevia Leaf, Matcha Green Tea.

The idea is simple: drink one cup before bedtime and one in the morning. According to the ads, it’s supposed to gently cleanse your system, help with digestion, and kickstart weight loss. It’s particularly popular among social media wellness influencers and detox enthusiasts.

My experience taking Lulutox Tea for weight loss

When the tea arrived (about 3 days after I ordered it on their Amazon.com store), I was cautiously optimistic. The packaging looked clean and modern — you know, the kind you’d expect to see in an influencer’s kitchen flat lay.

First cup at night: The taste wasn’t bad. Earthy, slightly herbal, with a hint of something sweet (probably the peach). About 5 hours later though, I found myself making a rather urgent trip to the bathroom.

The first few days: There was definitely a noticeable reduction in bloating, especially in the mornings. My stomach felt flatter and my jeans buttoned a little easier. But alongside that came frequent bathroom trips and the occasional crampy stomach.

By the end of the first week: I noticed my appetite dipped slightly, probably because I was wary of eating too much before bed (no one wants 3 AM surprises). I did feel a little lighter and less puffy overall.

After two weeks: I didn’t see drastic weight loss, but I did drop around 1.5kg, likely a combination of water weight, reduced bloating, and yes, bathroom visits. I paired the tea with daily walks around the estate and consciously cutting back on late-night snacks.

I wouldn’t call it a miracle solution, but it did give me a mild head start which is better than my experience with V Shred.

Pros

  • Can noticeably reduce bloating within a few days
  • Helps support digestion, especially if you feel sluggish
  • Herbal, tolerable taste

Cons

  • Can cause stomach cramps and dehydration if you’re not careful
  • Weight loss is mostly temporary water and waste weight

How I’d Recommend Using It

If you’re considering Lulutox Detox Tea, I’d say treat it as a short-term supplement rather than a standalone solution. It can be helpful if you’re feeling bloated or sluggish, especially after a weekend of overindulgence.

But for lasting weight loss? It’s best combined with regular physical activity (even light daily walks helped me) and cleaner eating habits. Hydration is crucial too — this tea can be dehydrating, so keep a water bottle nearby.

Better Alternatives to Consider

If detox teas aren’t your thing or you prefer something milder:

1. Warm Lemon Water with Ginger
Perfect for morning digestion support, with no midnight toilet drama.

2. Flat Tummy Tea (Daytime Blend Only)
A milder option I’ve tried before that didn’t give me as many urgent bathroom runs.

Final Thoughts

Lulutox Detox Tea isn’t a magic bullet, and it won’t make stubborn postpartum weight vanish overnight. But as a supplemental tool for easing bloating and supporting digestion while you work on other healthy habits? It has its place.

It worked moderately for me in that way — not life-changing, not a total flop either. Just one of those “okay if you use it wisely” products.

Would I repurchase?
Maybe, for occasional use. But not as a daily weight loss crutch.

If you’ve tried it, I’d love to hear how it went for you. Did it work? Was it too harsh? Or was it your secret bloating cure? Share your story in the comments!

  1. Thank you for trying these products and sharing your honest reviews. I have come across so many scams it’s difficult to trust most anything anymore.

    1. I have bought direct from Lulutox (their energizing tea. #443980984528 my order no.)
they have, in my opinion a scam going where you buy the product, and they add more to your order, They have just done this to me after my first order, and took from my account over £70, as soon as i ordered, and could see that more was added onto my order I got in touch, but received no help what so ever, I asked my bank Lloyds, to stop the payment but they did not. I have had to stop any other payments going out because i dont trust Lulutox.
My advise DONT BUY FROM LULUTOX, they will scam you, (in my opinion)

  2. I sincerely hope your blog can help others think about it before they buy it. I was just perusing their website because I saw a deal to try a bag on offer for 25€ then with the help of Apple Pay (curse it) I accidentally bought two bundles for almost 100€ and didn’t even get an email confirmation (again stupid Apple Pay). Of course Camille from customer service was anything BUT helpful and when I wrote an email 14 mins after purchasing the stuff she offered a 30% discount which she didn’t give me and asked for a quick email reply. By that time I didn’t see the email instantly so I answered an hour later I replied and then she replied over 24 hours later and said the package had already been shipped. I understand they have their processes but I am disappointed in their customer service, she could have paused my order until she heard from me again to confirm my wish to cancel which wasn’t clear in the first email; somehow. I haven’t even received the product yet and I’m angry I’m buying the most expensive tea by accident. Now that I’ve read your review that it’s going to make me run to the toilet in the middle of the night I’m even less enthused. Stupid trendy companies!

  3. I purchased 1 order. While trying to exit the website on my phone, I accidentally purchased 2 more orders since it wasn’t clear how to exit the site. I immediately contacted them and told them of the mistake and only wanted 1 order. I thought they would delete it but they didn’t. I requested a refund, but later it was denied. I ended up with 3 orders, enough to last 9 months. I think their site is a SCAM to people. I definitely won’t order from them again.

    SCAM

    Don’t order from them.

  4. I just got 1 order from Amazon, an overnight delivery. Had my first cup. Not bad tasting. Did have a bathroom trip shortly thereafter. My reason for purchasing was to gain energy & lower my blood pressure a bit, also for hubby to maybe help eliminate calcium crystals. We’ll see. They mention bee pollen but I don’t see anything pertaining to that on the package. I suppose if I don’t see any positive results in a couple of weeks using it every other day, I’ll just make a concoction of dandelion & ginger. Don’t like the idea of Tumeric as too much can affect the liver/gallblader & gallbladder removal runs in my family.
I’ll give another review in a couple of weeks though I’m not overly enthused as $25 with free shipping, even on Amazon, for a bag doesn’t worth it

  5. I would like to make a correction to my statement. I said it had been pollen this was incorrect. From what I understand it has been venom extract that is supposed to accelerate burning fat. Problem. If someone has an allergy to bee venom this could be a serious problem

  6. Re: Lulutox detox tea:
When I started to order the 70% discounted tea, they kept adding additional teas, so without filling in my name and address or contacting PayPal (altho I must have indicated that would be the payment), I deleted the website in disgust. A couple days later I received an email confirmation, so apparently they processed the order anyway and must have gotten the missing information online. I tried to cancel but I was told it had shipped. I do not recommend ordering from this company.

SO I ended up having to change my Bank account number, So please be careful.
