Do you want to buy My Way Up Debloat Detox? here’s a honest review from a stay at home mom who bought and took this capsules for her gut issues.
If you follow my blog, you already know I’m a postpartum mom still dealing with the not so fun side of motherhood: bloating, constipation and all sorts of gut issues. So when I started seeing Aussie moms recommending My Way Up Debloat Detox in a mom forum I’m part of, I was interested.
I’m always a little skeptical of products that promise to fix everything from bloating to constipation, but the reviews were convincing enough that I decided to give it a proper try.
Spoiler alert: it didn’t work for me.
About My Way Up Debloat Detox
My Way Up Debloat Detox is marketed as a botanical supplement for constipation, bloating and digestive discomfort. The brand says it contains nine botanical extracts traditionally used in Western herbal medicine. It currently sells for $59.99 on mywayup.com
One thing I genuinely like about this product is the simple minimalist packaging and design.
The formula itself is few; aloe vera, St Mary’s thistle, capsicum, cascara, fennel, chamomile, senna, dandelion and ginger.
And yes, there are some ingredients here that immediately caught my attention, particularly cascara and senna, which are traditionally used to help with constipation.
My experience taking this debloat detox capsules
When my order from mywayup.com arrived, my first impression was not great. The bottle contained less capsules than I had imagined. When I checked the serving information, I realised I had a 15 day supply.
Maybe I should have paid closer attention before ordering, but I wasn’t expecting that. At $59.99, a 15 day supply also makes this considerably more expensive per day than I had mentally budgeted for.
And when I’m buying something specifically to test whether it can help an ongoing problem, I prefer having enough product to give it a reasonable trial.
Still, I already had it, so I wasn’t going to judge the product based on the bottle.
I took My Way Up Debloat Detox for four days. And by the fifth day, I decided I had had enough.
I know four days isn’t a particularly long time in the world of supplements, and normally I’m willing to give a product a fair chance before writing it off. But I wasn’t noticing anything that made me want to continue.
My main reason for buying this was my ongoing bloating and constipation. I wasn’t looking for a smaller waist or some dramatic “detox” transformation. I simply wanted my digestive system to feel better.
I kept taking the capsules because I thought perhaps the effects would kick in after a few days. I didn’t expect to wake up after the first dose feeling like a completely different person, but I did expect some indication that the product was doing something.
By day four, I still wasn’t seeing it. On day five, I decided I wasn’t going to keep taking it just because I’d paid $59.99 for it.
That’s one thing I’ve learned from testing so many products for this blog. Once you’ve spent the money, it’s very easy to convince yourself that you need to finish something simply because you bought it.
But if I’m reviewing a product honestly, I have to be willing to say when my experience isn’t matching the promises. So I stopped.
Does My Way Up Debloat Detox Work?
A good number of people say it works for them. It just didn’t work for me.
My Way Up has plenty of positive customer reviews, with people reporting less bloating and more regular bowel movements. The brand itself also says that individual responses vary and that the results aren’t typical for everyone. That’s fair.
But my experience was completely different.
I took the product for four days, and by day five I’d had enough. I wasn’t seeing the improvement I bought it for, so I stopped taking it.
Pros
• Minimalist, attractive packaging
• Just nine botanical ingredients
Cons
• $59.99 for the bottle
• Only 15 days’ worth, when I expected 30
• Didn’t improve my bloating or constipation
