If you’re new to online shopping, here’s a bit about this brand ‘Glov’. They trended few years ago for their micro infusion skincare products which was a huge success.
So when I saw their new product which targets weight loss, I was hooked. So I placed an order directly on their website ordered directly from glovbeauty.com, and my package arrived almost two weeks later. Here’s my brutally honest review of Glov Berberine Complex.

What Is Glov Berberine Complex?
Glov Berberine Complex is marketed as a supplement for metabolism and energy support. Berberine is a plant-derived compound that has been studied for its possible effects on blood sugar and cholesterol metabolism.
It’s sold for $49, and huge discounts when you buy more. However, I opted for a one time deal as I just wanted to test to see if it works first before bulk buying.
My Experience taking this Berberine Complex
The capsules are small and easy to swallow, and I did not notice any unpleasant aftertaste. The packaging says to start with two capsules, which is the starting instruction I followed.
In terms of appetite control, I was not impressed. I still craved sweets and snacks, and my appetite seemed pretty much the same as before. I did not notice the meaningful reduction in hunger I had hoped for.
I would rate its appetite suppression 1 out of 5 based on my personal experience. That is not a scientific rating, of course, but an honest reflection of how little difference I noticed. Same goes with the weight loss claims, which are honestly far fetched.
I did experience a light energy boost, but it was not enough to make me feel that the product had transformed my routine. Overall, I was disappointed because the marketing had given me higher expectations.
Unfortunately, my biggest problem with the brand was not even the supplement itself. I discovered that I had been added to an automatic subscription plan when I ordered through the website. I did not want to continue receiving the product, so I repeatedly contacted Glovbeauty.com to cancel my subscription.
On August 16, 2026, the company’s customer service team confirmed in writing that my subscription had been cancelled and acknowledged that unwanted shipments had occurred. Despite that confirmation, another shipment arrived in September.
I was left with two completely unopened boxes valued at $261.64 in total. I repeatedly offered to return both boxes for a refund, but the company continued referring me to its 30-day return policy. They said it has passed the timeline. So I had to cancel my credit card so I don’t get charged again. Now I’m stuck with two unopened boxes.
Is Glov Berberine Complex a Scam?
Based on my experience, the product doesn’t really work for weight loss. It failed to curb my appetites, and only boosted my energy a little. Hence, I’d say it’s not genuine coupled with the brand’s shady subscription terms.

Honestly, I do not recommend Glov Berberine Complex. It did not meaningfully reduce my appetite, and the slight energy boost was not enough to make up for the disappointment. The subscription dispute made the whole purchase considerably worse.
My main advice is to be careful before ordering directly from Glovbeauty.com. Check the recurring payment terms before completing checkout, and do not assume that a cancellation request has been processed until you receive written confirmation. If you receive confirmation, keep it.
For me, this purchase was disappointing both as a supplement and as a customer service experience. I expected to try a metabolism support product, not spend weeks trying to resolve a dispute over unwanted shipments.
