Do you want to buy OLCG teeth whitening Strips? here’s a honest review from a stay at home mom who bought and tested the whitening strips herself.
A quick backstory; I’ve always been a little self-conscious about the colour of my teeth, which are quite yellow. I used to blame my tooth discolouration on the medications I took as a child, but over time, I realised that poor dental hygiene had also contributed to it.
So when I saw ads for a peroxide free whitening strips which is more affordable than the popular Crest, I decided to give it a try. Ordered a pack for $29 on Amazon.com which contains 14 treatments.
Does it really whiten the teeth? here’s my honest review of OLCG teeth whitening strips
About OLCG Teeth Whitening Strips
OLCG teeth whitening strips are marketed as a peroxide-free alternative to conventional whitening strips. The pack I bought from Amazon.com cost $29 and contained 28 strips, enough for 14 treatments, with one strip for the upper teeth and another for the lower teeth per treatment.
There’s isn’t much information about the manufacturer, however I’ve used their product in the past; OLCG Collagen Jelly Cream, and I know their products are made in PRC – People Republic of China.
My experience Using this Teeth Whitening Strips
I paid $29 for my pack, which seemed reasonable compared with some of the more expensive whitening strips on the market. I wasn’t expecting my teeth to become perfectly white overnight, but I wanted something that could gradually improve their appearance without costing me a fortune.
One thing I learnt very quickly was that you need to dry your teeth thoroughly before applying these strips. I made the mistake of putting them on wet teeth the first time, and they simply wouldn’t stay in place properly. Once I started drying my teeth beforehand, the strips adhered much better and stayed put during application. It was a simple mistake, but it made a noticeable difference in how easy they were to use.
Regarding sensitivity, I experienced only mild sensitivity, which was manageable for me. I was also careful to keep the strips away from my gums because I didn’t want to cause unnecessary irritation. Although I had a relatively mild experience, that doesn’t mean everyone will react the same way, even with a peroxide-free product.
As for the results, I had to be patient. I didn’t notice much difference during the first few applications, and it was around my fifth use that I started seeing some improvement.

The results I’ve noticed have been gradual rather than dramatic, so I wouldn’t describe these strips as an overnight whitening solution. The type of staining also matters. Surface stains caused by food, drinks, and plaque may respond differently from discolouration related to natural tooth colour, ageing, or certain medications. If your teeth are naturally darker or have deeper staining, these strips may not give you the results you’re hoping for.
Pros
- Peroxide-free formula
- Mild sensitivity.
- Gradual result
Cons
- Results may vary depending on the cause and severity of discolouration.
- Risk of sensitivity or gum irritation.
Is OLCG Teeth Whitening Strips Worth It?
Based on my experience, I’d say OLCG teeth whitening strips are worth considering if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, peroxide-free whitening option. I paid $29 for 14 treatments, experienced only mild sensitivity, and started noticing some improvement around my fifth use.
They’re not a miracle product, and I wouldn’t promise that everyone will get the same results. Still, I’m happy enough with my experience to see why people are curious about them.
My advice is to dry your teeth thoroughly before applying the strips, follow the package instructions, and don’t use them more frequently than recommended in an attempt to speed things up. If you have persistent sensitivity, gum problems, untreated cavities, or concerns about the cause of your discolouration, check with your dentist before using whitening products.
My rating: 4 out of 5 based on my personal experience. This rating reflects the price, ease of use, sensitivity, and gradual improvement I noticed. It isn’t a claim that OLCG has been independently proven to whiten teeth as effectively as established peroxide-based products.
