Do you want to buy Hema Balance Blood Optimizer? here’s a honest review from a stay at home mom who bought and took this supplement for her blood sugar.

What truly convinced me to give it a try was its natural herbal ingredients. I’m tired of chugging down chemicals which do have side effect in the long run.

Note – Hema Balance is also sold under the name ‘Hema Renew Blood Optimizer’ and I was convinced to buy this supplement when I saw it’s being featured in USA today website.

About Hema Balance

Hema Balance is marketed as a dietary supplement for blood sugar and metabolic support. It’s described as a “Blood Optimizer” that promotes healthy circulation, glucose metabolism, energy and weight management.

This product is available for sale on Amazon.com, hemarenew.shop, hemarenew.org, etc.

Ingredients

The ingredients list states; white mulberry leaf, juniper berry, biotin, chromium, berberine, bitter melon and cinnamon bark.

Now, as someone who is familiar with supplements, the ingredient list looks impressive.

There is research around several of these ingredients and glucose metabolism, which is the reason why they are so appealing in supplement marketing.

My experience taking this blood optimizer

The ordering process seemed normal at first. I selected three bottles for $59 per bottle and completed checkout. It was only after payment that I noticed something was off. I was charged for six bottles at $49 each.

I did not know how it was done, but I got a $249 bill on my credit card, and that actually left me very bitter especially as customer support said it has already been shipped. Which I doubt, as it took almost two weeks to be delivered.

I wasn’t expecting it to replace medication or magically fix diabetes, but I did expect that if I was paying for a supplement specifically marketed for this purpose, there would be some noticeable benefit that made me feel the money hadn’t been completely wasted.

Over the next four days, I took the capsules as directed, monitoring my blood sugar carefully. Normally, my fasting readings sit around 95–100 mg/dL, but after taking it, my numbers spiked to 138 mg/dL fasting and even hit 180 mg/dL after meals. My blood sugar had never reacted this way to a supplement before, and it was a stark warning that this product was not safe for someone like me, who carefully monitors postpartum blood sugar.

Also, it left me pretty with loose stool for the number of days I took it. Maybe that was the concept behind ‘weight management’ to shiit your intestines out. (Lol?)

Does Hema Balance really work?

From my experience, Hema Balance doesn’t work for managing glycogen or blood sugar. Rather, when taken, it spiked my fasting blood glucose reading.

Meanwhile, after my experience, I decided to investigate the product and I discovered it’s linked to multiple fad supplements –, Hemovex, Hemavex Gluco Support, Glycopezil, etc. And when I checked for reviews online they were pretty much negative

Aside from reports that the products didn’t work for them, customers have complained about unexpected credit card charges, subscription arrangements, difficulties cancelling and problems obtaining refunds.

Now, this mirrors my experience especially the refunds part. When I contacted Customer Support for returns of two out of the three bottles which are unopened, I was ghosted.

I reported the product scam by filing a report through the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at ReportFraud.ftc.gov

Pros

  • NIL

Cons

  • Didn’t lower my blood sugar
  • Got unauthorized charges from the brand
  • non-responsive customer support

Alternatives

Currently I use PrimeMD 21-in-1 Berberine, Ceylon Cinnamon Supplement on Amazon.com. I use this as part of my daily routine to help manage my blood sugar m, it works well for me but always seek guidance with your health care team.

I experienced no side effects other than this helps cleanse my digestive system and helps with appetite control. The pill is easy to take in gel cap form and no taste I suggest taking as directed with a meal

Other methods I currently use to manage blood sugar are;

  • Diet and Nutrition: Focus on low glycemic index foods, complex carbohydrates, and plenty of fiber.
  • Exercise: Short walks after meals can improve blood sugar regulation.

Pro tip – if you’re tired of taking supplements as pills, the capsules are easy to open and use in a morning smoothie or protein shake! loving them so far
