Does Selerb Metaburn really work for weight loss? As a stay at home mom of three battling postpartum weight gain, I bought and took the Selerb Metaburn Metabolic Supplement for one month.

As someone who weighs around 70kg at 5.5ft and mainly just wanted to slim down my tummy area a little bit without doing anything extreme, I figured it might be worth trying.

I ended up ordering mine through Amazon because, personally, I feel more comfortable purchasing supplements there. The product is also sold through other marketplaces like Walmart and the official store (selerb.com), but Amazon just gives me a little more peace of mind when it comes to returns, reviews, and shipping.

After using it consistently for four weeks, here’s my brutally honest review.

About Selerb Metaburn

Selerb Metaburn is marketed as a GLP 1 support supplement for both women and men. The brand describes it as an “8 in 1 dual blend formula for GLP 1 pathway support, appetite rhythm balance, and natural metabolic activation,” which sounds extremely scientific and impressive when you first read it. It also claims to support blood sugar balance, help manage cravings, and gently activate metabolism throughout the day.

It is important to mention that this is not an actual prescription GLP 1 medication like Ozempic or Wegovy. Instead, it falls into the category of wellness supplements that claim to “support” the body’s natural GLP 1 pathway through herbal blends, vitamins, and metabolism focused ingredients.

That distinction matters because a lot of people see the term “GLP 1” and assume these supplements work similarly to prescription injections, which is simply not the case.

The capsules are marketed toward people looking for appetite management, metabolism support, energy support, and help with cravings. The branding leans heavily into the idea of balancing your metabolism naturally without harsh stimulants or complicated routines.

The bottle itself looked pretty standard when it arrived. Nothing overly luxurious or suspicious either. Just a straightforward supplement bottle with the usual claims printed across it.

Ingredients

One thing I will say is that the ingredient list did not immediately scare me off, which honestly happens with some trending supplements these days.

  • Green Tea Extract (EGCG) – Thermogenic fat metabolism
  • Apple Cider Vinegar – Gut health & digestion
  • Cinnamon Extract – Blood sugar regulation
  • Vitamin B12 – Energy production
  • Berberine HCI – Appetite & glucose control
  • Chromium – Carbohydrate metabolism
  • Ashwagandha – Stress balance & appetite moderation
  • Bitter Melon – Blood sugar response

What stood out to me most was that the formula seemed relatively gentle. I had read some reviews beforehand from people claiming it acted almost like a detox supplement and had them running to the bathroom during the first week. Thankfully, that was absolutely not my experience.

My experience taking Selerb Metaburn

I used Selerb Metaburn consistently for four weeks and followed the instructions by taking two capsules daily. The capsules are on the larger side, though surprisingly smooth to swallow. I usually took mine first thing in the morning before breakfast with water, which worked best for me.

Going into this, I think my expectations were probably moderate. I was not expecting overnight weight loss, but I did hope for noticeable appetite control or at least some help with bloating around my midsection.

The first thing I noticed was that it really did not feel harsh at all. No jitteriness, no racing heartbeat, no weird crash halfway through the day. That alone was honestly refreshing because so many metabolism supplements rely heavily on stimulants that leave you feeling anxious and shaky.

Energy wise, I did feel a slight improvement. Not a dramatic burst of energy where suddenly I wanted to deep clean the garage at midnight, but more of a subtle boost where I felt a little less sluggish during the day.

As for appetite suppression, I personally did not notice much difference.

That said, I also need to be fair here because I am not someone who struggles heavily with overeating in the first place. I generally eat pretty moderately already, so maybe I was not the ideal candidate for a strong appetite control effect to begin with.

Weight loss wise, I cannot honestly say I saw major changes. My tummy area looked mostly the same, and the scale did not move enough for me to feel impressed.

At the same time, I also did not have a negative experience with it.

I know that sounds strange, but sometimes supplements fall into that middle ground where they are not terrible, they are not miraculous, they just sort of exist as a mild wellness product that may work differently for different people.

I kept waiting for that “wow okay now I get the hype” moment, but it never really came for me personally.

Still, after reading through many customer reviews, it is obvious that some people genuinely feel it helped them with cravings or maintaining better eating habits. So while it did not fully deliver the results I hoped for, I also cannot sit here and say it is completely useless across the board.

I just think results probably vary a lot depending on the person, their metabolism, eating habits, and expectations.

Side Effects

Thankfully, side effects were minimal for me. I experienced none of the usual nausea and diarhea. Honestly, that was probably one of the better aspects of this supplement. It felt gentle and easy to incorporate into my routine, which I appreciated. If you are sensitive to harsh fat burners or stimulant heavy products, this may feel less aggressive than many others on the market.

Of course, everyone reacts differently to supplements, especially those involving herbal blends or appetite related ingredients.

Pros

  • Gentle formula
  • No harsh stimulant feeling

Cons

• Appetite suppression was minimal for me
• Did not noticeably reduce tummy fat

Rating: 2.5/5

Overall, I would describe Selerb Metaburn as a fairly mild metabolism support supplement that may work better for some people than others.

I did appreciate that it felt gentle, did not upset my stomach, and gave me a slight boost in energy throughout the day. However, I personally did not experience the strong appetite control or visible body changes that the marketing heavily suggests.

I do not regret trying it because the experience itself was fine, but I also probably would not repurchase another bottle once this one is finished.

For me, it landed somewhere in the middle. Not terrible, not life changing, just one of those supplements that might fit certain routines better depending on the person using it.

Alternatives

If you are exploring metabolism support supplement, I would suggest Nutraharmony Berberine with Ceylon Cinnamon on Amazon.com. It’s a 15-in-1 supplement that works not just for Metabolism but also for the heart and energy.

It actually curbs my appetite. The problem is, I actually need to remind myself to eat. I haven’t lost any weight from it, but I’ve only been on it a week. I’m dealing with a back injury and the meds they put me on made me gain so much weight, especially since i can’t go to the gym currently. Since I started taking this, I stopped gaining weight , so that’s huge for me. It’s definitely worth the money, if you’re having issues like me!
