As the owner of a Labrador Retriever (and a kitten) who seems determined to leave fur on every piece of clothing I own, I was immediately interested. My first thought was simple. If this thing really works, I want it.
My second thought was even simpler. Why not see if I can find something similar elsewhere before spending thirty five dollars on a product from a website I have never heard of?
That little bit of research led me down an interesting rabbit hole.

Also, the website appears relatively new, has limited brand recognition, and lacks the established reputation that larger retailers and well known pet brands have built over time.
When I can find comparable products for less money from established sellers with thousands of customer reviews, spending thirty five dollars on a recently launched website becomes difficult to justify.
For the same price range, I would rather invest in a higher quality wooden handled grooming tool that has already proven itself.

If Vivanchor lowered the price and established a stronger reputation over time, I might feel differently.
For now, I would save my money and choose a proven alternative.
