Blushe Korean Mascara is marketed as more than a regular mascara. The brand claims its tubing technology wraps around each lash rather than simply coating it, helping the lashes stay lifted throughout the day without feeling stiff or heavy.
It is also advertised as a lash growth serum mascara, thanks to ingredients such as red ginseng, peptides, hyaluronic acid and centella. The idea is that while you are wearing mascara and getting instant length and definition, you are also supposedly helping your natural lashes grow over time.
My experience using this growth serum mascara
Firstly, one thing you should know is that despite being heavily marketed as a Korean mascara, my order was delivered from China. So, that was a little disappointing because the Korean beauty angle was one of the things that made the product seem more unique and premium in the first place.
When I applied it for the first time, I noticed that it takes a couple of minutes to properly dry. This is something you need to be careful with because if you touch your face, blink against your eyelid, or accidentally brush your lashes before it dries, you can end up with a smear.
For that reason, I would recommend applying this mascara as the very last step of your makeup routine. Don’t put it on and then start doing something else around your eyes because you really need to give it a moment to set.
