If you want to buy the Snidin Bakuchiol Serum here’s a honest review from a stay at home mom who bought and tested this serum herself.
Few weeks back, I stumbled on an Instagram Ad of this Bakuchiol Serum by Snidin and I decided to give it a try. Last year, the brand trended for its hair growth spray and Centella Asiatica toner pads which had lots of great reviews on Tiktok and even Amazon. I even bought the hair growth spray and was honestly impressed. Could it be the same with its facial serum?
Spoiler alert: It was a disaster

Snidin Bakuchiol Serum which is sold on snidin.com and also on Amazon.com is a facial serum that is said to improve the overall look of the skin while also providing hydration and helping to make imperfections less noticeable.
Now when you hear of Bakuchiol it simply is a natural compound gotten primarily from the seeds and leaves of the Psoralea corylifolia plant, commonly known as the babchi plant. It’s safer than retinol and thats why lots of people prefer it.
Personally, my skin tolerates Bakuchiol, and I do not have that dryness, flaking, and redness, that is quite common when I use retinol.
I ordered the serum because the ingredient list sounded promising;
Bakuchiol, niacinamide, peptides, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, squalane, and centella asiatica.
They are all ingredients commonly found in skincare products designed to support hydration and address visible signs of aging.
My experience using this Bakuchiol Serum
Firstly, you ought to know that this serum isn’t a K beauty product as advertised. It’s made in China, the packaging clearly says so and thats where my order shipped from.
My first impression wasn’t pleasant. The first thing I noticed is that the serum is quite sticky. I definitely don’t encourage putting it on as your first layer serum. Your face will be too sticky too apply any other serums that have ingredients you also want to use that you feel you didn’t get out of this one.
I don’t feel like I am getting any moisturizing from it either, despite it containing multiple moisturizing ingredients. My skin still looks dry, even after dropping several drops from the dropper on each cheek and forehead and tried to spread it around, but the serum is just too thick for any really good coverage or absorption.
Meanwhile the fragrance isn’t really great. The smell reminds me of the copper-peptide smell to be honest, but the peptides that are in it shouldn’t cause this. Some buyers on Amazon said it’s the smell of caffeine, but I’ve used other products made with caffeine and they never smelt like this. Honestly, I am disappointed with the Snidin Bakuchiol serum as I had high hopes that it would live up to the brand’s other products.
I completely doubt it actually contains Bakuchiol as my skin became red after few hours of applying the serum. Honestly, I am not pleased with this product, especially as it’s sold for a high price compared to similar bakuchiol serums of same size. Why spend $40 on a product that left me with skin irritation when I can get a better one for less than $30?

Does the Snidin Bakuchiol Serum really work?
Well, I can’t really say if it works or not as I developed a skin irritation after applying it so I had to immediately stop using it.
However, I don’t think I’d recommend this Bakuchiol serum. The thick texture, smell and way my skin reacted are a big NO to me.
There are plenty of other bakuchiol serums available in the $20 to $30 range, so I don’t think you need to spend $40 or more on this one.
Final Verdict
Unlike their hair growth spray, Snidin Bakuchiol Serum didn’t meet my expectations. It is sticky, too thick for my liking, doesn’t give me the moisturizing effect I expected and has a smell I simply don’t enjoy. Most importantly, my skin looked red a few hours after using it, so I decided not to continue.
I cannot prove that there is anything wrong with the bakuchiol itself, and I wouldn’t claim that this serum will cause redness for everyone. Skincare is personal, and other people may have a completely different experience.
But based on my own experience, this is one Snidin product I won’t be repurchasing.
