Do you want to buy Purely White Deluxe? here’s a honest review from a stay at home mom who bought and tried this whitening powder. If you follow my blog, you’d know I’ve been trying to get my spark back after multiple pregnancies.
One thing I’ve always wanted to fix was my teeth, to get them sparkling white, or maybe not sparkling but at least get rid of the yellow stains. Sadly, our insurance don’t cover any of those procedures so I can either pay out of pocket.
Enters; Purely white deluxe. The brand claims this whitening powder is the first of its kind, featuring PAP+, a peroxide-free whitening formula designed to remove stains without causing sensitivity or damaging enamel.
So i placed an order on purelywhitedeluxe.com for two pods which costs about $59.
Spoiler alert: It was a terrible purchase.
About Purely White Deluxe
Purely White Deluxe is an at-home teeth whitening powder containing PAP+, which the company describes as a peroxide-free whitening formula. According to the brand, it’s designed to remove stains without causing sensitivity or damaging enamel.
The company also says the formula was developed by dentists and is intended to support overall oral health.
Interestingly, though the product was presented as something you couldn’t buy anywhere else. After placing my order, I discovered that it is also available on Amazon for $19.99 which is just a fraction of what purelywhitedeluxe.com charges.
I was heartbroken, especially when I contacted the company and my order cancellation request was rejected.
My experience using this teeth whitening powder
I gave Purely White Deluxe a proper try and my expectations were actually pretty reasonable. I wasn’t looking for impossibly white teeth; I just wanted the yellow staining on my teeth to look less noticeable.
Unfortunately, I didn’t see a meaningful difference. The stains I wanted to address were still there, and my teeth weren’t noticeably whiter to me even right after using the second pof.
The texture was another issue. After using the powder, my teeth felt gritty, which I didn’t particularly enjoy. I also didn’t find the process especially convenient, particularly as I couldn’t use it with my electric toothbrush, I had to buy a manual toothbrush.
Meanwhile, the opening of the jar is small and although I can fit my toothbrush head in there all the way, once you it gets used up I can only get just the tip in. It’s also messy. I usually wet my brush, get the product on the tip/end then add toothpaste. So I poured it into a small container with a wide opening.
Here’s a before and after picture. Do you see any changes? Of course, I don’t. Just my like experience with Power Swabs, Purely White Deluxe couldn’t whiten my teeth.

Better Alternative
Right now, I’m using Lumineux Teeth Whitening Strips Peroxide Free on Amazon and honestly this is the best whitening strips I’ve used.
I’m two weeks in and they work. Is it dental office quality after 2-3 strips? No. Do they make your teeth crazy sensitive after 5-6, just a tad. The side effects from using these is so low that I’m fine to continue the 21 day treatment. My teeth are noticeably whiter and even overall in color. I drink a ton of coffee and have never fully whitened my teeth over the course of a few weeks. Be realistic when you try these and plan ahead if it’s for a vacation, wedding or big event.
You’ll need to apply the strips for about two weeks before you really see the results you want. I plan to buy more and use 2-3 times a week for maintenance. For my sensitivity peeps: I tried the crest strips years back and couldn’t get through a salad. My teeth were so sensitive I had to sip through a straw for a few days. These don’t do that to your teeth and are your best bet to whitening without the painful sensitivity!
